PDMS for CNOOC Liuhua Phase II Project Put Into Operation

One week before May 2024, Innovit Electric technical team completed the installation and commissioning of the Online PD Monitoring System for Power Transformer for the CNOOC Liuhua Phase II project and successfully put it into operation. The system will provide real-time monitoring for 12 dry-type transformers to ensure reliable operation.

The CNOOC Liuhua Phase II project is a key project for CNOOC to build the Asian offshore oil and gas processing plant – the floating production, storage and offloading unit (FPSO). It marks a major breakthrough in key technologies for the independent construction of deepwater oil and gas equipment in China. Once completed, FPSO will be used in the Liuhua Oilfield in China’s Pearl River Mouth Basin, capable of processing approximately 5,600 tons of crude oil per day, providing a new option for the efficient development of China’s deepwater oil and gas fields. The project team has overcome a number of world-class technical problems and has reached the world’s advanced level in terms of construction speed and project quality .
